The function for adding files and links allows you to include documents that you have created in other applications, such as pictures, text files, and video content, in addition to Internet links.
Files that are stored locally on your computer can be uploaded to itslearning, but you are limited to uploading individual files or links. In principle, you can add whatever file you want, but remember to make sure that your users have the necessary software installed on their computers. Example: You may have Adobe Photoshop installed on your computer and can view PSD files, but not all participants necessarily have Photoshop.
As well as uploading files from your computer, you can also add files directly from your Dropbox account. Dropbox is cloud-service file hosting service that allows users to create a special folder on each of their computers, which Dropbox then synchronizes so that it appears to be the same folder (with the same contents) regardless of which computer is used to view it. When adding a file from Dropbox the file is downloaded to itslearning, and changes to the file in Dropbox are not reflected on the uploaded version.
Links in this context is simply an URL that points to another web site. A course on English may, for example, have links to online text collections or grammar resources.
